Make ready 2 kielbasa sausages
Prepare 5 c water
Take 3 chicken bullion cubes
Make ready 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
Make ready 1 can diced tomatoes
Make ready 1 Bell pepper
Take 1/2 bunch green onions
Get 1 med yellow onion
Take 1 tbsp onion powder (or to taste)
Make ready 1 tbsp garlic powder (or to taste)
Take 1 tbsp parsley (to taste)
Get 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (to taste)
Prepare 3 cups rice
Instructions to make Sausage jambalaya:
Dice veggies. Meanwhile boil water and bullion cube until completely dissolved
In a skillet sautés sausage and yellow onion about 5 min or until onion starts to soften. Add green onion and Bell pepper another 5 min.
To sausage and veggies add water mixture tomato sauce seasonings, diced tomatoes, and rice bring to a fool storing occasionally to prevent rice from sticking.
Reduce heat and simmer covered, stir occasionally, for another 20 min or until rice is done.
Note.. Some people add a little hot sauce to give an extra kick.. Be warned a little goes a long ways.
