  1. Once the pan is hot, add sesame seeds and fry them in a moderate heat. - - When it starts splutter, turn off the flame and move the sesame into a separate plate and cool it.
  2. Heat oil in the same pan roast urad dal, curry leaves and dry red chilli.
  3. Once it roasted well, cool the same. After that add roasted items, sesame seeds, tamarind,garlic pods, hing and salt to the mixer jar and grind it to a coarse powder.
  4. Store sesame podi in glass jar and serve with tiffen items.
