  18. Make ready 1 cup/100 ml ghee

  21. Get 1/4 cup ghee

Dal baati is an Indian dish of dal (lentils) and baati (hard wheat rolls). Instructions to make Dal bati churma:
  1. For dal- take all three dal. Wash and soak for 30 minutes.
  2. Now add 2 cup water, salt, turmeric powder.
  3. Take 4 whistles of sim gas.
  4. Heat ghee. Add hing and cumin seeds
  5. When colour of cumin changes add degi mirch, red chilli powder, garam masala.
  6. Pour this to cooked dal.
  7. Squeeze lemon juice.
  8. Dal is ready.
  9. For bati- take wheat flour, add salt, ajwain and 1/2 cup ghee.
  10. Mix well ghee by rubbing with hands.
  11. Now knead puri like dough.
  12. Keep dough at rest for 15 minutes.
  13. Now make small balls from dough.
  14. Bake these balls in preheated microwave at 180 degree for 15 minutes.
  15. Transfer these bati in rest of the ghee.
  16. For churma- take wheat flour, add 2 table spoon.
  17. Knead tight dough using water.
  18. Keep rest for 20 minutes.
  19. Now take ball from it.
  20. Roll using rolling pin.
  21. Heat tawa and cook roti from both sides.
  22. Now cool and grind roti in mixture.
  23. Take grinded roti and add rest of the ghee.
  24. Roast till there will be good aroma.
  25. In last add chopped dry fruits, cardamom powder,powder sugar, desiccated coconut.
  26. Switch off the gas.
  27. Dal,bati,churma is ready.
